Description

You will own the design, development, and maintenance of high-scale microservices and web applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Spring Boot microservices and web applications using JDK 17+.
• Design efficient MongoDB schemas and optimize complex queries for data integrity and performance.
• Implement event-driven architectures using Kafka messaging services.
• Manage containerized deployments and orchestration via OpenShift (OCP) and Kubernetes.
• Develop monitoring dashboards and execute queries in Splunk to analyze system health.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in Spring Boot and Spring Web framework development.
• Strong proficiency with JDK 17 and above.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB design, indexing, and query optimization.
• Proven track record with Apache Kafka for asynchronous messaging.
• Operational familiarity with Oracle Database administration and querying.
• Experience deploying and managing applications on OpenShift (OCP) and Kubernetes.
• Ability to write and interpret Splunk queries and dashboards for observability.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with BDD (Behavior Driven Development) workflows.
• Proficiency with AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot.
