Description

You will design and implement large-scale distributed systems and cloud-native data platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write hands-on code more than 60% of the time to implement high-performance Spark applications.
• Design and build large-scale real-time stream processing systems and microservices.
• Own the architecture, scalability, availability, and data security of analytics SaaS services.
• Provide technical leadership to multiple teams and mentor junior developers on best practices.
• Resolve code defects and optimize system performance.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in a Senior Software Engineer role within a data platform or data engineering team.
• Extensive experience with Big Data, distributed systems, and the Kafka, Hadoop, Spark, or Flink ecosystems.
• Proficiency in Java or Scala.
• Deep understanding of algorithms, data structures, and performance optimization techniques.
• Knowledge of distributed systems principles including consistency, availability, fault-tolerance, and consensus algorithms.
• Experience with microservices architecture patterns such as Service Discovery, API Gateway, and Domain Driven Design.
• Experience using Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and AWS.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS services including EMR, S3, Glue, and Kinesis.
• Experience with Debezium, ELK, or building SaaS/PaaS on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with AI/ML applications.
