Description

Design and build automation software tools and cloud infrastructure for a platform engineering team.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build automation software tools.
• Implement and optimize APIs.
• Provision and deprovision Azure resources using Terraform.
• Build automation tasks using Python.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines including deployment automation, configuration management, and testing.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software engineering experience using C#, Java, or Go.
• 2+ years of software architecture experience.
• 4+ years of Python experience, specifically for platform engineering and Azure automation.
• 2+ years of experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• 2+ years of experience building CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (ADO).
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems using Java/Spring Boot, CQRS, event streaming, Kafka, or Spark.
• Proficiency with relational and non-relational databases.
• Experience with public cloud IaaS and PaaS services, specifically Azure or AWS.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with containers.
