Description

You will design and develop scalable backend systems and microservices for enterprise applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop RESTful APIs using Java 8+ and the Spring ecosystem.
• Implement microservices using cloud-native design patterns and AWS services.
• Optimize application performance through debugging, concurrency, and multi-threading.
• Manage data persistence using PostgreSQL with a focus on SQL and stored procedures.
• Drive DevOps practices using CI/CD tools, Git, and build automation.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with 10+ years in IT.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Java 8+, Spring Boot, Spring JPA, and Spring Cloud.
• Proficiency in JUnit, concurrency, and multi-threading.
• Experience with AWS services including S3, EKS, and API Gateway.
• Working knowledge of Redis, Kafka, or other messaging platforms.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and clean architecture.
• Experience with relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL and SQL.
• Practical knowledge of DevOps tools including Git, Gradle, Maven, and Jenkins.
• Familiarity with ITIL Framework (Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management).

Preferred Skills

• Experience within the retail industry.
