You will design and implement secure, cost-efficient software solutions for large-scale platforms, defining project scope and validating technical feasibility for stakeholders and junior developers.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope and objectives by engaging stakeholders and validating technical feasibility.
• Prepare and validate technical specifications for junior colleagues and external developers.
• Manage relationships with internal clients and peers while ensuring transparent communication of progress.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and propose strategic approaches to advance business applications.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, preferably within the financial industry.
• Advanced knowledge of Java and/or Python.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Practical experience with cloud computing and AWS services.
• Experience coordinating with business users and developers to solve complex business problems.
• Strong personal organization skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with agile software development methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture, RESTful services, and messaging technologies like Kafka.
• Familiarity with AI-powered coding tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q) and data warehousing solutions like Snowflake.
