Description

Design and implement security features for network security products in large-scale environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security features for network security products.
• Triage, reproduce, and fix identified security vulnerabilities.
• Implement unit testing, validation, and automation for all deliverables.
• Maintain existing code and troubleshoot issues within complex systems.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to solve security challenges.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience targeting Linux/Unix applications.
• Proficiency in C and C++.
• Experience with Perl and Python.
• Solid experience in Linux system and middleware programming.
• Deep understanding of Linux OS internals, OS bring up, Secure Boot, Bootloader, and SELinux.
• Strong understanding of certificates and cryptography.
• Knowledge of networking protocols including DHCP, TCP/IP, AAA, RADIUS, LDAP, SNMP, 802.1X, and IPSec.

Preferred Skills

• Experience on the platform side for enterprise networking or security appliances.
• Background in networking security products such as SSL-VPN, NAC, WAF, or Firewall products.
