Description

You will design, maintain, and debug laboratory integration and test environments for electronic hardware and software at vehicle component and platform levels.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain laboratory integration and test environments encompassing electronic hardware and software.
• Maintain hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) systems and emulation tools.
• Debug complex electro-mechanical systems and perform cable troubleshooting, building, and repair.
• Execute system level use case tests.
• Configure computer networking principles, including VLANs and switch configuration.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years of work experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, C, or C++.
• Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Experience with cable troubleshooting, building, and repair.
• Familiarity with computer networking principles, including VLANs and switch configuration.
• Knowledge of multiple communication protocols and running simulation models.
• Experience debugging complex electro-mechanical systems.
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Serial Data Communication protocols and tools such as CAN or MIL-STD-1553.
• Familiarity with Ethernet protocols, tools, and Wireshark.
• Knowledge of NI TestStand and Windows event logs.
