Description

You own the design and implementation of software components across all system layers, from kernel to application.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement software components, including kernel modules, synchronization primitives, resource allocators, and memory management.
• Develop drivers and services for constrained environments to ensure low-latency, high-bandwidth data delivery.
• Lead hardware bring-up, peripheral driver development, and power/performance optimization.
• Analyze, design, and debug firmware for various devices, including sensing, imaging, and audio prototypes.
• Debug complex, multi-component issues spanning kernel to application layers.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software development experience in industry settings (or PhD with 4+ years).
• 5+ years of embedded software development experience.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python for development, debugging, and testing.
• Experience with large-scale C/C++ code bases.
• Experience with RTOS environments.
• Hands-on experience with peripherals such as UART, SPI, CSI-2, I2C, GPIO, and USB.
• Demonstrated experience debugging complex system-level issues.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
