Description

You will design, develop, and maintain scalable back-end architectures and algorithmic solutions. You own codebase quality through rigorous design and code reviews while championing automated testing across the development lifecycle.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop new features and implement complex algorithm-related solutions for scalable systems.
• Drive codebase quality by enforcing design reviews, code reviews, and coding standards.
• Champion automated testing initiatives, including unit and e2e testing, across the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate within distributed software teams to build and maintain public APIs and back-end services.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in software design, development, and algorithms.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, and/or C#.
• Experience with EventHub, Kafka, Cosmos DB, and Hadoop.
• Experience building public APIs using Java.
• Proficiency with Git source control and command-line applications.
• Experience with unit and e2e testing frameworks.
• BA/BS in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Skills

• 5+ years of experience in back-end development.
• Experience with cloud technologies like Azure.
• Experience using NoSQL databases like Cosmos DB and big data tools like Hadoop with Apache Spark.
