Description

Lead the design and maintenance of scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby on Rails code.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure holistic application development.
• Ensure data consistency and coherence across the entire application.
• Integrate multiple data sources and databases into a single unified system.
• Align technical execution with project goals alongside designers and project managers.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience delivering production-quality software systems.
• 5+ years with Ruby on Rails and deep expertise in object-oriented development.
• Strong understanding of OOP principles and design patterns.
• Hands-on experience with the MVC architectural pattern in enterprise-class applications.
• Proficiency in Test-Driven Development (TDD) for high code coverage.
• Experience building internal and external APIs and RESTful web services.
• Proficiency with Git and familiarity with CI/CD tools.
• Knowledge of server-side templating languages (Liquid or Slim) and CSS preprocessors.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery.

Preferred Skills

• Experience leading technical execution in a team environment.
