Description

You will design, develop, and integrate software for test systems and hardware-in-the-loop environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop object-oriented applications using C# and C++ within Microsoft Visual Studio on Windows.
• Integrate hardware interfaces and troubleshoot complex test instrumentation and equipment.
• Derive software requirements and apply UML for system architecture and design.
• Manage software configuration using Azure DevOps Server and GitHub.
• Mentor junior engineers and manage multiple concurrent engineering tasks.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of industry experience in software engineering (or 3+ years with an advanced degree).
• Strong proficiency in C# and C++ object-oriented development.
• Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and Windows OS development.
• Ability to troubleshoot software and hardware test instrumentation.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycles including Waterfall and Agile.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (or advanced degree).

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with hardware protocols: TCP/IP, UDP, RS-422.
• Experience developing software drivers for hardware interfaces.
• Background in optimizing computer architectures and hardware performance.
