Description

You will build and enhance a core banking platform using microservices architecture.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver high-quality features and enhancements.
• Own end-to-end delivery of large-scale features spanning 3+ months.
• Create technical design specifications and provide estimates during sprint planning.
• Produce secure solutions and tune distributed system performance to meet SLAs.
• Peer review code and mentor engineers to improve technical solutions and delivery speed.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in Python or another dynamically typed, object-oriented language.
• Experience with microservice architecture and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and container-based systems.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with MySQL or other relational databases.
• Deep understanding of RDBMS concepts including locking, transaction models, isolation levels, and deadlocks.
• Experience with RESTful API development.
• Hands-on experience using message brokers like RabbitMQ.
• Proficiency with GitHub and *nix-like environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with build and integration for Payroll Providers and Time & Attendance platforms.
