You will design and deliver scalable microservices solutions while mentoring engineering peers on technical execution and code quality.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure, high-performance distributed systems and microservices.
• Create technical design specifications and provide accurate effort estimates for sprint planning.
• Tune system performance to meet SLAs and optimize database interactions.
• Mentor engineers on efficient code delivery and architectural best practices.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python with object-oriented programming principles.
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture and containerized environments (Docker).
• Expertise in relational databases, specifically MySQL, with advanced SQL skills.
• Knowledge of RDBMS internals: locking, transaction models, isolation levels, and deadlock resolution.
• Hands-on experience with message brokers like RabbitMQ.
• Proven track record building RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency with version control systems, specifically GitHub.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud computing platforms.
