Description

You will own the development, integration, and maintenance of enterprise application solutions using Java, microservices, and event-driven architectures.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and integrate software components, APIs, and third-party products to meet business and engineering specifications.
• Design and troubleshoot systems using software engineering patterns, conducting impact analysis to minimize production interruptions.
• Write clean, efficient code and automate test suites in collaboration with QA teams to ensure product quality.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and incident support to resolve client issues and improve processes.
• Mentor junior developers and share knowledge on effective coding practices and tool usage.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development experience with strong proficiency in Java and SQL.
• Experience building REST- and SOAP-based services using Spring Boot or Apache Camel.
• Hands-on expertise with API gateways (e.g., Apigee) and eventing platforms like Confluent Kafka or Apache ActiveMQ.
• Proficiency in container orchestration and infrastructure tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Istio, or Rancher.
• Experience with AWS Cloud services and database utilities like Liquibase or JHipster Domain Language.
• Familiarity with AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) and test-driven development practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex systems and recommend solutions.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in enterprise application integration within large-scale data and automation platforms.
• Background in contributing to design documentation and technical specifications for development teams.
