Description

Lead full lifecycle development of complex distributed systems, from engineering specifications to deployment and release management.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Own the release pipeline and ensure products meet customer value requirements.
• Mentor engineers and enforce standards for scalable code, unit testing, and documentation.
• Negotiate technical requirements and collaborate with executives on product direction.
• Improve SDLC processes and drive operational excellence within a CI/CD environment.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in software development and application design.
• 3+ years of experience in a development lead role.
• Proficiency in .NET or Java.
• Experience building scalable, performant, and secure distributed systems.
• Cloud-native design with AWS, GCP, or Azure, including relational and NoSQL databases.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and asynchronous architectures.
• Ability to design, create, and secure APIs using REST/JSON, OAuth, and JWT.
• Solid knowledge of data modeling and database theory, including ACID and CAP.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency with Python or Go.
• Knowledge of medical industry regulatory standards.
