You will own features and drive them to completion across the entire Software Development Life Cycle.

Responsibilities

• Develop in Python, FastAPI, and integrate with databases, external APIs, and cloud services.
• Contribute to designing and developing reusable API components and highly available, low latency, cloud native microservices.
• Participate in the full software development life cycle (SDLC) of cloud-based solutions—conceptualize, design, develop, test, deploy, and support/enhance.
• Develop subject matter expertise for the APIs/microservices you develop and support.
• Participate in estimation processes for new work and releases.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of professional Python development experience.
• 3+ years developing with FastAPI or similar web frameworks (Flask, Django).
• 3+ years of experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).
• 3+ years of experience with cloud automation tools (Terraform).
• 3+ years of experience with RESTful API design and development.
• 3+ years of experience with SQL and database technologies (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Full understanding of web service architecture and microservices design patterns.
• Experience with CI/CD and version control software.
• Strong understanding of Agile Principles (Scrum).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with OAuth & common authentication/authorization patterns.
• Experience working with API gateways.
• Familiarity with Azure Cloud Services.
