Senior Software Engineer responsible for designing and implementing high-performance, distributed server-side applications and APIs in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable RESTful and streaming APIs using Java and modern frameworks.
• Build real-time data processing pipelines leveraging Apache Kafka for high-throughput data streaming.
• Develop distributed caching strategies and optimize data models for columnar databases.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following industry best practices.
• Collaborate with tech leads and architects to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java (Java 11+) and Spring Boot/Spring Framework.
• Proven experience building microservices architectures and RESTful APIs.
• Deep understanding of Apache Kafka or similar streaming platforms.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and SQL optimization.
• Knowledge of distributed caching solutions (Redis, GridGain).
• Strong grasp of multithreading, concurrency, and asynchronous programming.
• Experience with performance testing tools and profiling.

Preferred Skills

• Experience implementing containerization platforms.
• Knowledge of columnar databases.
