Description

Lead the design, development, and deployment of applications using Java and Python while mentoring a team of five engineers.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable applications using Java and Python.
• Apply AI/ML techniques to enhance product features and solve complex engineering problems.
• Build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable codebases.
• Integrate internal and external APIs, ensuring robust system communication.
• Mentor a team of five engineers through code reviews and testing standards.

Required Skills

• 8+ years in software development with strong emphasis on Java.
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, Google Cloud AI/ML Platform).
• Solid understanding of API design (REST, gRPC) and distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Python and Java.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Familiarity with AWS and Azure.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience at Google or similar cloud infrastructure providers.
• Experience in technical leadership or mentorship roles.
