Description

You will design, develop, and maintain complex software applications using Java and Spring Boot, translating business requirements into technical solutions that align with established architecture standards.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, debug, and document complex software applications and services.
• Recommend and implement improvements to enhance system performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Develop and maintain program specifications, APIs, and service integrations for microservices.
• Create and enhance unit tests, test plans, and testing processes to ensure quality.
• Collaborate across teams in all stages of the software development lifecycle, including estimation and delivery planning.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in software development and application implementation.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot for API development (REST/microservices).
• Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and release management processes.
• Experience with dependency management, transitive dependencies, and debugging complex issues.
• Solid knowledge of unit, system, and functional testing methodologies.
• Ability to write technical designs and documentation for distributed and integrated systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ETL/data processing tools such as Apache Spark.
• Experience working with cloud platforms, preferably Azure.
• Familiarity with large-scale, transaction-based systems.
