Description

You will design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems using Java and modern cloud infrastructure. You own the full lifecycle from architecture decisions to deployment and monitoring.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop robust services in Java and Python.
• Manage cloud infrastructure and deployments using AWS and Terraform.
• Design and optimize database schemas for both SQL and NoSQL systems.
• Enforce strict code quality standards, documentation, and testing practices.
• Solve complex system design challenges and improve engineering processes.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong proficiency with AWS services and cloud-native development.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL database technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
• Solid understanding of system architecture and distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting or additional development.

Preferred Skills

• Proven track record of maintaining high code quality and comprehensive documentation.
• Strong communication skills with a focus on continuous learning.
