Description

You will own the extraction of data from legacy systems and the development of stable, extensible Node.js applications on AWS.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Extract data from legacy systems and overcome extraction limitations independently.
• Write unit-tested, stable code and implement new requirements following Agile principles.
• Diagnose complex issues, implement resolutions, and support solution architecture design.
• Operate within continuous integration, delivery, and deployment pipelines.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to ensure quality and communicate effectively.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience with Node.js software development.
• 5+ years of experience with AWS Lambda.
• 3+ years of experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD).
• Expertise in developing REST APIs and documentation tooling.
• Proficiency with SQL databases, specifically MySQL and Postgres.
• Experience with cloud development using AWS Lambda.
• Proficiency with modern development tools, including git and Docker.

Preferred Skills

• Previous consulting experience.
