Description

You will join the Site Reliability Engineering team to build tools that improve product quality, system reliability, and observability.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate SRE initiatives to support aligned product teams.
• Develop functionality to enhance system reliability and observability.
• Engage in regular paired programming sessions to ensure code quality.
• Manage competing technical priorities and requests.
• Negotiate technical requirements through clear verbal and written communication.

Required Skills

• 3-6 years of software development experience, with 70% focus on Java.
• Proficiency in Go, Scala, and Python.
• 3+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, observability, or distributed tracing.
• 3+ years of experience hosting services in AWS cloud technologies.
• 3+ years of experience deploying and managing EKS/Kubernetes clusters.
• Strong proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Experience with OpenTelemetry for monitoring and tracing.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Datadog and/or Grafana for observability dashboards.
