Description

Design, develop, and deploy scalable software applications using Java and Spring Boot within an Agile environment. Own the full lifecycle from planning and estimation to testing, code review, and production deployment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain microservices and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and containerization using Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Write and maintain comprehensive unit tests using JUnit, TestNG, and Cucumber, supplemented by Selenium for automation.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
• Mentor junior engineers and maintain technical documentation.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of software development experience with a focus on Java and Spring Boot.
• Expertise in RESTful API development and microservices architecture.
• Experience with ActiveMQ, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in front-end frameworks including Angular and React.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (Amazon MQ, SQS, S3, EC2, EKS, RDS, CloudWatch) and Terraform.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, Bash scripting, and Linux environments.
• Experience with test automation tools including Selenium, JMeter, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Splunk, New Relic, and Elasticsearch.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance, including having lived in the US for 3 of the last 5 years.

Preferred Skills

• Healthcare IT experience and knowledge of HIPAA or CMS standards.
• SAFe Agile Certification or software testing certifications (ISTQB, CSTE).
