Description

You will develop and maintain cross-platform software libraries for GeoID and EternalID.

Responsibilities

• Construct code and unit tests in C#, Python, or JavaScript to implement library features based on technical designs.
• Create automated tests to cover various code paths and stress test corner cases.
• Release code to the dev lead for review and publishing to library consumers.
• Collaborate with the dev lead on technical design direction and feature implementation.
• Participate in technical refinement ceremonies to identify and mitigate inter-sprint dependencies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Object Oriented Programming.
• Strong proficiency with Python 3 and common geospatial toolsets.
• Experience with C#, .NET, data structures, and basic algorithms.
• Experience with JavaScript and developing software library packages for JavaScript environments.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented principles, design patterns, and structural code.
• Proficiency with Version Control tools like GIT.
• Experience using IDEs such as VS Code or Visual Studio.
• Experience with Unit Testing frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• Experience creating and releasing software libraries.
• Experience with GIS tools such as ArcGIS.
• Exposure to automated tests using Selenium and Cypress, GraphQL technologies such as Hasura, and Agile methodologies.
