Description

You will support an existing cloud-based claims adjudication platform and lead the migration of 20-30 REST APIs to AWS Cloud.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Migrate REST APIs from existing infrastructure to AWS Cloud.
• Apply object-oriented analysis and design patterns to develop Web Services.
• Produce design documents, write code, perform code reviews, and execute unit testing.
• Drive task completion within Agile/Scrum sprints, including project estimation and task creation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Java development.
• 3+ years of experience with Spring, Spring Boot, and Spring REST API development.
• Proficiency in Core Java and J2EE standards.
• Experience deploying REST APIs to AWS Cloud, including hands-on experience with AWS API Gateway.
• Familiarity with JMS (Java Messaging Service) and/or IBM MQ.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum frameworks.
• Background in the healthcare payer industry.
