Description

You will design and develop secure, consumer-facing web applications in an Agile/Scrum environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.
• Build responsive Single Page Web Applications (SPAs) using modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Develop and consume RESTful web services using JSON-based request/response patterns.
• Write unit test cases to ensure code quality and application stability.
• Apply design principles to ensure application scalability and performance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience designing and developing secure consumer-facing web applications.
• 2+ years of extensive experience building production applications with Node.js.
• 2+ years of full-stack front-end experience.
• Advanced knowledge of JavaScript and Functional Programming.
• Proficiency with JavaScript tools and frameworks such as Angular.js, React, Ember, Gulp, npm, or EJS/Handlebars.
• Experience with Git, GitHub, or other distributed version control systems.
• Proficiency with Chrome or other browser Developer Tools.
• Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility, SEO, and progressive enhancement.
• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent professional work experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD), CI/CD, and Docker container technology.
• Knowledge of Relational and NoSQL databases, Redis distributed cache, or logging tools like Splunk and ELK.
• Contributions to open-source projects.
