Description

You will own the design, development, and implementation of Retail Point of Sale systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop features for the Xsstore suite of products.
• Develop code and processes interfacing with middleware using Web Services, SOAP, and XML.
• Implement API programming adhering to microservices architecture.
• Apply object-oriented development frameworks within Agile/Scrum and waterfall environments.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of progressively responsible experience designing and developing Retail Point of Sale systems.
• 4+ years of development and customization experience with Xsstore.
• Extensive experience in Core Java and J2EE for Web/Application development.
• Proficiency in Java/J2EE, Spring MVC, JSP, AJAX, JavaScript, and XML parsers.
• Experience with SOAP/REST web services and programming APIs.
• Proven expertise in networking concepts/protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, SMTP).
• 4+ years of database design/development experience in RDBMS platforms (SQL Server, Oracle).

Education
