Description

Develop C++ applications for medical devices on Linux. Own the full software lifecycle from conceptualization to unit testing. Build OpenGL user interfaces and optimize build systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop C++ based medical device applications and OpenGL user interfaces in a Linux environment.
• Own the full software lifecycle including conceptualization, prototyping, design, and unit testing based on product requirements.
• Debug and troubleshoot build, algorithm, functionality, and dependency issues.
• Optimize build systems and manage makefile improvements.
• Collaborate with developers and verification teams to enhance application functionality.

Required Skills

• 8-12 years of experience in the full life cycle of application software development.
• At least 3 years of mandatory experience in the medical device or healthcare industry.
• Expertise in C++ development on Linux using object-oriented programming and design patterns.
• Hands-on experience with OpenGL for application development.
• Mandatory expertise in build system improvement using Linux makefiles.
• Proficiency in root cause analysis and troubleshooting build challenges, dependencies, and performance.
• Experience working within Agile or Scrum methodologies.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Electronics Engineering.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of medical device regulations and standards.
