Description

You will design and build highly scalable distributed systems and microservices on AWS.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable client-server programs and cloud-hosted microservices using AWS.
• Build distributed systems leveraging big data open-source tools and resolve design bottlenecks.
• Conduct unit, system, and integration testing to ensure program stability and performance.
• Lead software development projects, including automated malware analysis solutions and interface conversions.
• Mentor and coach new team members while participating in design sessions and code reviews.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software engineering experience in Java, Python, and JavaScript.
• Deep experience developing Single Page Applications using React.js and Redux.
• Proven track record building applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Strong proficiency with RESTful APIs and manipulating relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience working in Agile and Scrum environments for project planning and sprints.
• Ability to create functional and design specifications, G.A.P. analyses, and project documentation.
• Experience leading teams, interviewing candidates, and managing multiple deliverables.

Preferred Skills

• Background in building automated malware analysis solutions or security tools.
• Experience collaborating with research teams and data scientists.
