Drive automation strategy and testing execution across the full software development life cycle.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation scripts and frameworks using Micro Focus UFT, Selenium, Test Complete, and Egg Plant.
• Execute functional, integration, regression, smoke, sanity, end-to-end, and system testing.
• Perform API web testing using SOAP UI (JSON/XML) and Postman.
• Manage automation suites within CI/CD pipelines using Atlassian Bitbucket and Bamboo.
• Administer testing tools including Micro Focus ALM and UFT, covering configuration, installation, and plugin support.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software testing and automation.
• Proficiency in Selenium-Eclipse (Java)-TestNG and Micro Focus UFT (VB).
• Strong experience with VB scripting and Excel macro utility development.
• Hands-on expertise with API testing tools: SOAP UI and Postman.
• Experience with CI/CD workflows and Atlassian Bitbucket.
• Competency in requirement and defect management tools such as Jira, Rally, Micro Focus ALM, and Tricentis qTest.
• Ability to use SQL for data extraction.
• Familiarity with Citrix platform, VDI/RDP management, and Service Now for incident management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Power BI or Query Surge for report integration.
• Background in managing Micro Focus ALM data backups, archiving, and recovery.
