Description

You will own the quality assurance lifecycle for business-critical applications, designing automated test scripts and enhancing Java-based automation frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for UI, mobile, and API layers.
• Build and maintain automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, Gradle, and Jenkins.
• Perform API automation testing using Rest-Assured or HTTPClient and integrate scripts into CI/CD pipelines.
• Conduct root cause analysis for production defects and perform failure analysis for automation scripts.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, maintain test cases in JIRA, and support Go/No-Go decisions for releases.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of hands-on QA or SDET experience with strong programming skills in Java (Java 8+).
• Proven experience building automation frameworks from scratch.
• Hands-on proficiency with Selenium for UI automation and Appium for mobile automation.
• Experience with BDD frameworks, specifically Cucumber and Gherkin.
• Strong SQL and database knowledge for data verification.
• Practical experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins and Gradle.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices.
