Description

You will provide independent verification of software products against pre-approved design requirements and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute both manual and automated test cases.
• Plan and implement test environment setups for functional testing of integrated software and hardware in lab settings.
• Develop, publish, and implement comprehensive test plans.
• Discover, document, and track software defects in a bug database.
• Lead and direct the work of others to ensure testing is completed within project timelines.

Required Skills

• At least 5 years of industry experience coding in C++ and/or C#.
• Proficiency with C++, C#, Python, and Selenium.
• Experience using Visual Studio.
• Knowledge of software testing methods across the SDLC, including unit, integration, system, V&V, and acceptance testing.
• Ability to automate test cases using keyword scripting and simulators.
• Experience with database backend testing and developing complex SQL queries.
• Understanding of software application testing for cybersecurity risks.
• Familiarity with MS Windows, UNIX, or Solaris environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Agile/Scrum processes.
• Experience with software for Flow Cytometers or related medical devices.
