Description
Senior Site Reliability Engineer for a Platform Engineering team in Dallas, TX.
Responsibilities
- Design and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on GCP.
- Administer and optimize Kubernetes (GKE) clusters.
- Define SLIs/SLOs and drive continuous reliability improvements.
- Automate operational workflows using Python, Go, or Bash.
- Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and postmortems.
Required Skills
- 15+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering.
- Strong proficiency with GCP and Kubernetes (GKE).
- Scripting expertise in Python, Go, and Bash.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Helm, GitOps).
- Knowledge of distributed systems, APIs, and SQL databases.
- Proficiency managing observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Stackdriver).
- Collaboration skills for embedding reliability in the SDLC.
Preferred Skills
- GCP Professional Cloud Engineer certification.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and incident management tools.
