Description

You will own testing, debugging, and benchmarking for the platform device driver engineering team.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute software test cases against client product baselines and industry performance benchmarks.
• Perform data collection and analysis on performance and user experience for target driver platforms.
• Assemble, configure, and debug modern client architecture-based PC systems from scratch.
• Debug driver and hardware issues, including BIOS changes and OS feature enablement.
• Use high-speed test equipment and software benchmark tools to validate system stability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software working experience.
• Extensive knowledge of PC-based system assembly and hardware reconfiguration.
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with software testing, test execution, and test case management.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills for both drivers and hardware.
• Ability to install and configure operating systems on target platforms.
• Experience using high-speed test equipment and software benchmarking tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with pre-silicon test environments including simulation and emulation.
