Description

Lead QA strategies and testing methodologies for complex IT initiatives in Heredia, Costa Rica.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of QA test project strategies, methodologies, and processes.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to define testing scope and align with project milestones.
• Manage test data development and execution across SIT, Performance, UAT, Automation, and Production phases.
• Review and validate business processes, test data, and environment requirements.
• Develop QA project plans, identify critical paths, and track quality metrics through scheduled reporting.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance or software testing.
• 5+ years of experience with automation testing methodologies and technical testing.
• 4+ years of experience in software or systems programming using Java or VBScript.
• 2+ years of experience with databases such as SQL, Oracle, MongoDB, or DB2.
• At least 1 year in an informal leadership role with technical teams.
• Proficiency in Manual Testing.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, CIS, or a related field, or 8 years of equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience leading QA strategies for complex IT initiatives.
