Description

You will develop and debug test software and firmware for electronic systems in Irvine, CA.

Responsibilities

• Develop and debug test software using NI LabVIEW and NI TestStand.
• Write and debug test firmware using C/C++.
• Create test software applications using Python and PyQt.
• Execute PCBAs and electronic system testing by interpreting schematics and layouts.
• Operate lab equipment including oscilloscopes, power supplies, and DMMs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software test engineering.
• Expertise in NI LabVIEW and NI TestStand.
• Proficiency in C/C++ for firmware development.
• Experience with Python and PyQt for software development.
• Ability to read and understand PCBAs schematics and layouts.
• Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, power supplies, and DMMs.
• Familiarity with medical device regulations including ISO13485, CFR820, and IEC 60601-X.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• SME in NI Products.
• Knowledge of communication protocols: I2C, SPI, RS232/RS422/RS485, USB, and UART.
