Description

You will test embedded software for Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy devices within an R&D environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop critical care tests for electro-mechanical platforms using Agile (Scrum) frameworks.
• Execute scripted, ad hoc, and exploratory software tests on real-time embedded systems.
• Create and update test documentation in MicroFocus ALM, performing peer reviews.
• Investigate high-priority field issues and estimate technical work requirements.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to validate software safety.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional embedded software testing experience.
• Experience testing real-time embedded systems, specifically Green Hills Integrity OS.
• Proficiency in software development lifecycle methodologies: Agile, Scrum, Iterative, and V-Model.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Software Engineering.
• Ability to work within complex multi-therapy electro-mechanical device platforms.
• Strong analytical skills for investigating technical defects and field issues.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with regression analysis, feature analysis, requirements engineering, and use-case development.
• Ability to communicate defects, test methodologies, and progress to cross-functional teams.
