Description

You will ensure software quality for complex medical device products through rigorous verification and validation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute software test plans, verification procedures, and manual test protocols based on system specifications.
• Build automation test frameworks and scripts, and create tools for data gathering and post-processing.
• Perform software functional, integration, and GUI application testing.
• Review design and software requirements to ensure they are unambiguous, verifiable, and compliant with FDA QSR design controls.
• Log software issues in defect tracking tools and track bug fix progress.

Required Skills

• 5-7 years of experience in desktop automation testing.
• Proven experience developing test frameworks using Python.
• Hands-on experience with GUI automation tools such as Squish, Selenium, or WinApp Driver.
• Experience with medical device testing or development.
• Proficiency with test case management tools like JAMA and defect tracking tools like Jira.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies.
• Technical knowledge of C, C++, GUI Design, and Windows OS.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent technical degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with machine learning, cyber security, or software development for robotics and electromechanical systems.
• Knowledge of ISO 13485, IEC 62304, and FDA GMP.
