Description

Design, execute, and improve manual testing strategies for complex software applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and cases based on requirements.
• Perform manual functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects in JIRA or Bugzilla to ensure timely resolution.
• Mentor junior testers and foster a culture of quality within the team.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to refine software functionality.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in software testing with strong manual testing expertise.
• Proficient in writing clear, concise test cases and documentation.
• Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA and Bugzilla.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and QA processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• ISTQB or CSTE certifications are a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Experience in performance and security testing.
