Description

You will own significant UI and front-end development for critical customer-facing finance tools. This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build UI workflows that improve user experience and provide self-service for backend blockers.
• Maintain and build integrations with upstream and downstream systems.
• Support the migration of legacy applications to a new platform.
• Partner with finance stakeholders to deliver solutions that enable process optimization.
• Collaborate on engineering efforts to modernize and improve existing architecture.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Deep understanding of React and modern UI frameworks.
• Proficiency in integrating and consuming GraphQL APIs and RESTful services.
• Experience deploying and debugging applications in AWS (EC2, S3, SQS).
• Working knowledge of Java and Spring Boot.
• Ability to communicate complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work independently and adapt quickly to changing priorities.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of financial accounting principles (e.g., GL, AP).
• Familiarity with common AI tooling for productivity gains.
