Description

You will build and maintain user-facing finance tools and their underlying infrastructure, focusing on UI development for critical financial systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain user-facing finance tools and underlying infrastructure.
• Collaborate on engineering efforts to modernize and improve legacy architecture.
• Build UI workflows that improve user experience and provide self-service for backend blockers.
• Integrate and maintain connections with upstream and downstream systems.
• Support the migration of legacy applications to a new platform.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Deep understanding of React and UI frameworks.
• Proficiency in integrating and consuming GraphQL APIs and RESTful services.
• Experience deploying and debugging applications in AWS (EC2, S3, SQS).
• Intermediate understanding of Java (Spring Boot).
• Ability to communicate complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
• High independence and ability to execute quickly on shifting priorities.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of financial accounting principles (Capitalization, GL, AP).
• Familiarity with common AI tooling for productivity gains.
