Description

You will lead end-to-end architecture for high-traffic, customer-facing web applications and data platforms. Your work defines the technical foundation for scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions on AWS.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable microservices, event-driven systems, and SPAs using Node.js, React.js, REST APIs, and GraphQL.
• Architect fault-tolerant distributed systems on AWS, leveraging VPC, ALB/NLB, Auto Scaling, ECS/EKS, and Lambda.
• Define relational and non-relational data models optimized for high-volume OLTP transactions on PostgreSQL and Aurora.
• Own security architecture across application, data, and network layers, including IAM, RBAC, JWT/OAuth2, and encryption standards.
• Guide engineering teams on design reviews, best practices, and code quality while mentoring junior architects.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in software architecture and engineering.
• Deep expertise in AWS services: VPC, Security Groups, ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, and CloudFront.
• Proficiency in Node.js for backend services and React.js for frontend application design.
• Strong knowledge of GraphQL and REST API design patterns.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, data modeling, and caching strategies (Redis/Memcached).
• Practical implementation of IAM, RBAC, JWT, and OAuth2 for secure authentication and authorization.
• Ability to create comprehensive architecture blueprints covering data flows, integration, and deployment topology.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with threat modeling and collaborating with InfoSec teams on vulnerability resolution.
• Proven track record of optimizing cloud costs and system performance under peak load.
