Description

You will design and implement model-driven, enterprise-level business solutions within cable networking environments.

Responsibilities

• Architect microservices using on-prem cloud environments with VMware and Rancher-based Kubernetes.
• Design and develop new functionality and customizations to meet wireline business requirements.
• Manage the full software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.
• Troubleshoot cable modem DHCP and TFTP processes using CMTs CLI.
• Oversee cable modem onboarding and provisioning within MSO networks.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in architectural roles.
• Deep knowledge of Cable HFC systems and the cable modem initialization process.
• Expertise with DHCP servers, specifically RFC2131 (DHCPv4) and RFC 8415 (DHCPv6).
• Experience with Cisco CNR DHCP servers and configuring objects within the application.
• Proficiency in C or C++ for writing Cisco CNR extensions.
• Familiarity with CableLabs PCMM specifications and implementation.
• Knowledge of TR-069/CWMP (ACS) protocols for CPE device configuration.
• Hands-on experience with backend databases including MySQL, Postgres, and Redis.
• Experience with Cisco Prime Cable Provisioning and cable back office provisioning systems.

Education

• Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CommScope ACS products.
