Description

You will design and develop scalable payment processing solutions within a modernized platform, providing technical oversight and mentorship to development teams.

Responsibilities

• Define architecture and design standards in collaboration with business partners and enterprise architects.
• Lead cloud modernization efforts, focusing on AWS, cloud-native, and cloud-agnostic solutions.
• Create high-level design documents, architecture roadmaps, and technology adoption guidelines.
• Ensure best practices in cloud-native and microservices architecture across development teams.
• Drive technical strategy for true solutions design, including domain-driven design.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of overall experience with at least 10 years in solution architecture.
• Strong background in Java development.
• Extensive experience in cloud modernization, preferably with AWS.
• Proven expertise in microservices architecture and domain-driven design.
• Experience with container deployment strategies, specifically RedHat OpenShift.
• Secondary skills in Kafka for event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with modern tech stacks including MongoDB or CockroachDB.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud-agnostic solution design.
• Background in payment processing systems.
