Description

You will serve as a subject matter expert providing technical guidance on complex strategic choices for IRS submission processing systems.

Responsibilities

• Design system architectures and define performance requirements aligned with technology roadmaps.
• Evaluate technologies through analyses of alternatives, operational analyses, and proofs of concept to recommend modernization products.
• Implement software architecture design patterns to ensure scalability, extensibility, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with delivery partners across Cybersecurity, Enterprise Architecture, and Application Development to evolve system designs.
• Participate in agile technical planning, system integration, and risk analyses.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of related technical experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related technical field.
• Active IRS Moderate Risk Background Investigation (MBI) clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Proficiency with Java, XML, and JSON.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with system modernization and application delivery.
• Knowledge of Linux (RHEL), Informatica, JBoss, and ServiceNow.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of security best practices and information risk management.
• Experience with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) or SDLC tool suites.
• Applicable industry certifications.
