Key Responsibilities:

Business Partnership & Strategy

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define strategic objectives and technology roadmaps
• Translate business requirements into scalable architecture solutions
• Align architecture initiatives with long-term business and IT strategies

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

• Act as a trusted advisor to business and technical leadership
• Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Provide architecture guidance and leadership across multiple workstreams

Technical Leadership

• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and best practices
• Conduct architecture and design reviews for quality and scalability
• Provide hands-on support for integration and technical issue resolution

Solution Delivery & Agile Support

• Support requirements gathering, impact analysis, and solution definition
• Break down business requirements into scalable features and user stories
• Maintain traceability between requirements, Jira stories, and solution components
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including PI planning, syncs, and demos
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure architecture consistency across initiatives

Innovation & Emerging Technologies

• Drive adoption of emerging technologies including:
• Digital transformation solutions
• AI / Generative AI initiatives
• Cloud-based architectures
• Promote modern architecture practices and innovation strategies

Risk & Governance

• Identify and proactively manage technical risks and dependencies
• Escalate blockers, risks, and design conflicts appropriately
• Support governance and architecture documentation initiatives

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong experience in Solution Architecture / Enterprise Architecture / Technical Architecture
• Proven experience working directly with business stakeholders and leadership teams
• Strong expertise across modern enterprise technologies and platforms
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and architecture governance
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities
• Familiarity with:
• SAFe Agile
• DevOps practices
• Enterprise integration patterns
• Experience with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF (nice to have)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Healthcare industry experience is mandatory
• Strong preference for candidates with Kaiser Permanente experience
• Experience with tools such as:
• Jira
• Lucidchart
• Confluence
• Experience with enterprise cloud, AI, and digital transformation initiatives
