Description

You will design and implement cloud architectures on AWS for web applications, microservices, and data pipelines in Portland, OR.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud architectures using EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, and Amplify.
• Build automated ETL/ELT data pipelines using AWS data integration services.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications, architectural designs, and system integrations.
• Optimize cloud environments for performance, scalability, reliability, security, and cost.
• Implement DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated deployment.

Required Skills

• 5-7 years of experience designing and implementing cloud-based data solutions.
• Hands-on expertise with AWS architecture and core services including IAM, EC2, S3, RDS, and SageMaker.
• Proven experience with AWS Lambda and DynamoDB.
• Strong background in cloud infrastructure, data warehousing, and machine learning operations (MLOps).
• Experience building data architectures using S3, Athena, Glue, and Kinesis.
• Ability to implement data governance, quality, and metadata management processes.
• Competency in automation practices and infrastructure as code.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification.
• Snowflake certifications.
