Description

You will design, develop, and implement enterprise BI, data, and reporting solutions within Public Sector environments.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end BI, data, and analytics solutions using Power BI, Cognos, SQL Server, and ETL technologies.
• Translate business requirements into solution architectures, data models, and technical delivery plans.
• Produce detailed solution design documentation, architectural diagrams, and integration specifications.
• Develop semantic models, dimensional data models, and BI dataset structures.
• Create ETL packages, job schedules, mappings, and data transformation documentation.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience designing and developing enterprise BI solutions.
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, stored procedures, performance tuning, and data management.
• Extensive experience with ETL processes and SSIS.
• Strong experience with Power BI Service (Cloud) and Power BI Report Server (On-Prem).
• Proficiency with Cognos, Oracle, Visual Studio, .NET framework, Attunity, ODAC, and GIT.
• Strong understanding of release pipeline automation, CI/CD workflows, and version control.
• Expertise in data analysis, profiling, quality validation, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to obtain necessary Security Clearance.

Preferred Skills

• Background in Agile methodologies, backlog refinement, and iterative delivery.
• Experience with CASE tools such as PowerDesigner, ERwin, or similar modeling tools.
