Description

You will lead data engineering efforts for the Provincial Provider Registry (PPR) and Registry backlog remediation, ensuring the integrity of Electronic Health Record (EHR) golden records.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java-based registry solutions, including RESTful APIs, microservices, and integration components.
• Provide application support, performing root cause analysis, issue remediation, and system stability troubleshooting.
• Configure and troubleshoot AWS cloud services, managing containerized deployments via Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews to enforce quality standards and maintain technical documentation.
• Optimize existing services and resolve performance bottlenecks within the IBM InfoSphere MDM environment.

Required Skills

• Java Development: 4–5 years of experience with JSP, Servlets, Struts, and Spring frameworks.
• IBM MDM: 4–5 years working with IBM InfoSphere MDM Identity Hub (Initiate).
• Web Services: Strong experience developing and consuming SOAP and REST services.
• Application Support: 3–4 years of experience in issue analysis, remediation, and documentation.
• Infrastructure: 3–4 years with IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS) and 2 years with container-based development (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
• Cloud: Hands-on experience with AWS, including cloud service setup, networking, and administration.
• Standards: Familiarity with PKI, WS-Security, WS-Policy, HL7, and FHIR messaging.
• Process: Solid understanding of SDLC and QA processes.

Preferred Skills

• Proven background in Java application design and architecture.
• Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
