Description

You will lead data engineering efforts for the Provincial Provider Registry and ensure the integrity of Electronic Health Record golden records.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java-based registry solutions, including RESTful APIs, microservices, and integration components.
• Provide application support by performing root cause analysis, issue remediation, and system stability troubleshooting.
• Configure and troubleshoot AWS cloud services, managing containerized deployments via Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• Conduct unit and integration testing, perform code reviews, and maintain technical documentation to enforce quality standards.
• Optimize existing services and resolve performance bottlenecks within the IBM InfoSphere MDM environment.

Required Skills

• 4–5 years of Java development experience with JSP, Servlets, Struts, and Spring frameworks.
• 4–5 years working with IBM InfoSphere MDM Identity Hub (Initiate).
• Strong experience developing and consuming SOAP and REST web services.
• 3–4 years of experience in application support, issue analysis, remediation, and documentation.
• 3–4 years with IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS).
• 2 years with container-based development using Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud service setup, networking, and administration.
• Familiarity with PKI, WS-Security, WS-Policy, HL7, and FHIR messaging standards.
• Solid understanding of SDLC and QA processes.

Preferred Skills

• Proven background in Java application design and architecture.
• Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
